Manika Batra Biography

Manika was born on 15 June 1995 in Delhi. Both her elder brother and elder Sister were table tennis players, so she too started playing table tennis from the age of 4 only.

She has received training in table tennis from Sandeep Gupta.

She won the under-8 tournament for the first time at the age of 8.

She has represented India in the 2014 Commonwealth Games, 2015 Commonwealth Games, 2014 Asian Games, 2016 South Asian Games, 2016 Summer Olympics, and 2015 Commonwealth Table Tennis Competitions.

She also received a lot of modeling offers, but she rejected modeling offers and choose table tennis as her career.

On 25 December 2018, she was honored with the Arjuna Award by the President. And she was also honored with the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 2020.
